I’m a person, who knows what she wants. I’m not the one who has a lot of free time to write comments here and discuss stupid and silly news, like you do. It’s so funny that you all take it seriously, start thinking about it and so on. I would never spend my time on such stupidity. I just want to say that there’s a real word, where you can spread rumors and argue. Why are you doing this online? You look so funny!

First of all, what did he do for the Pats? Go 28-23. Last I checked, thats a plus 500 record. Not to mention having one division title and two playoff births in three seasons. So nice point there Basil.

Second, he doesn't need to use the Atlanta Falcons to get a raise at USC. He's the third highest paid coach in the country and he can get that raise WHEN he pleases. You don't talk to CVS to try and get a raise at Radio Shack. NFL and College are not interrelated, despite what you may think, when it comes to negotiating for money.

As far as this "expansion team in LA". You are ridiculous to think that the NFL would even consider an expansion team considering the problems they are having with lack of depth as it is and failure to sell out playoff games in San Diego.

The reason he talked with Atlanta was to get leverage for another possible head coaching job with an NFL team. If you make yourself available for conversation with a bottom feeder like Atlanta, and you walk out of there with the promise of full control of the roster as well as being the highest paid in the league, you can USE that as leverage for other NFL opportunities.

Lastly, San Diego. Are you freaking kidding me? Umm, there is a guy there named AJ SMITH. He doesn't like to share power with ANYONE. He wouldn't share candy with a child. Last time Carroll left the NFL, it was because he didn't have enough say in roster moves. So now he'll come back to San Diego of all places where they have a notoriously dickheaded GM and try there just because its the west coast? Good argument, but try again.

There are coaching jobs out there and if not this year, then next year Carroll will take one. It makes NO difference where it is. I can promise you that.

Pete Carroll is not going to the Falcons. If you think he was seriously considering and not just using it to get a raise at SoCal, then I have some oceanfront property to sell you in Arizona.

Get ready Shaun, your head is going to pop off: Pete Carroll will not leave SoCal unless 1) LA gets an expansion team, 2) the chargers job opens up, or 3) the 49ers job opens up (and even that one is pushing it, despite his ties there).

He has become accustom to being a football guru out there on the west coast (esp in LA), and will not leave to come back east where everyone remembers what he did for the Jets and Pats.
